In the history of Eastern and Western art, decorative art has always been an important historical position in the development of art history and has been widely used in every field, and with the rise of science and technology and the development of modern art movement, the new shape of science and technology to bring the visual texture of the fabric has become a fashionable high-tech and the representatives of the forefront of the old and detached from the public aesthetic decorative patterns to the market is not favoured, and make the decorative pattern modernization and art has become an irreversible development trend. Some pioneering artists and young designers begin to try to use the combination of tradition and new technology, so that the patterns with a long history of culture in the re-adjustment of the creation of new images to continue in the fashion circle. As people's material life becomes richer and richer, and as society and culture continue to progress, new forms of artistic expression have been recognised and encountered by more and more people in China. As a result, there is a growing demand for garments that interpret individuality in a unique, personalised, and free way, and patterns play an indispensable role in the uniqueness and individuality of the clothing styles they represent.
The fabrics are based on motifs from the Chinorise period, using both traditional and modern colour elements, and adding colour elements that fit the theme or are visually striking, resulting in a new series of aesthetically pleasing fabrics with a classical and contemporary aesthetic.
For the fabrics I chose one layer of heavy fabric and two layers of light woven fabric, the top two layers are light fabrics and the heavy fabric is used as the backing for the third layer, the three layers are sewn together by sewing machine at an average distance of 1.5 cm with a specific golden silk thread.
